Welcome to Whetstone Baptist Church

We are a fellowship of Christians who worship in the village of Whetstone, which is approximately 6 miles south of the city of Leicester.

For us the "Church" is not a building or organisation but a family of people who share in common their faith in Jesus Christ.  We are ordinary people, from all walks of life, who have the same joys and sorrows, cares and concerns that are common to us all. Our aim is to show the love of God to all who we meet and to tell them of the life changing power of Jesus Christ. We know what it is to be loved by God and desire to demonstrate his love to others. 
Our mission statement sums this up:
'We live to glorify God through Christ in worship, making disciples, loving one another and serving the community.'
