Activities for children and families while you're at home

We're offering resources for families to use while you are at home because we know you'll be missing Kid's Church, Big Bang Club and Pre-School. We hope these ideas will help you learn more about Jesus together while having fun.

We are adding to these resources over the weeks. Enjoy!

Starting in church for family worship time, then children leave for their groups. Each group has a team of regular leaders.

For families and people of all ages

First Friday of the month, term time (except September)

3.30pm–5.45pm, or at 10.30am on special holidays such as Good Friday and Christmas.

Messy Church is a church-based, Christ-centred, worldwide initiative that aims to make church available, accessible and fun for families.

Through creativity, food and celebration, it's a way for families and people of all ages to encounter Jesus.

We start with a story and singing time in church, followed by craft and activity tables, and finish with a yummy meal.

Messy Church is free to attend, however there's a donation box if you wish to give towards the meal.

No need to book, just turn up.

Thursdays term time

We have a wide range of toys and activities that the children can enjoy in a warm and safe environment. Adults can relax and chat to others. There's snack time, and we often have singing, dancing or a story.

We have a party at Easter, Christmas and the end of Summer term.

Sessions cost 50p per family group. No need to book, just turn up.

We will tell the next generation the praiseworthy deeds of the Lord, his power, and the wonders he has that the next generation would know them… [and] they would put their trust in God (Psalm 78).

We are committed to the nurturing, protection and safeguarding of all children and young people associated with the church. We seek to ensure that all our activities are conducted in a way which promote a safe environment for all.

We provide safeguarding guidance and training for all people involved with running young people's activities.
