Church Services Need to Know

Here are some important details to help you participate in services at Whetstone Baptist Church safely. We are conscious of the need to be aware and respectful of each other's needs.

  • MOST IMPORTANT - Do take a home test, if possible, before coming.
  • Don’t come if you feel at all unwell.
  • Please wear a face covering while in the building. Face coverings do not need to be worn while participating on stage. You may remove face coverings while singing, eating or drinking, but please maintain social distancing as much as possible.

What to expect

We have hand sanitiser and spare masks available. Touch points are sanitised. Door stewards and coffee servers wear masks. Our new building is well ventilated with its brand new heating and ventilation system. There is plenty of space to sit in the gallery if you wish to have a little more seperation from others during services. We are singing during services as normal. Seating will be arranged to aid social distancing as much as possible. Communion is served (when planned) as we normally do, with separate glasses.

Registering for children's and young people's groups

We need to collect registration details for children and young people attending groups. Please download a registration form from our website and email it to us. Paper copies are also available.

Our safeguarding policy is at the bottom of this page.

See you there!
